NVIDIA 7600 GS Driver Installation Problem - Help!

I am trying to install the driver via the disk supplied for my new pci-e 7600 gs graphics card into XP. I get this error message: The NVIDIA Setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware.

I am trying to install the driver via the disk supplied for my new pci-e 7600 gs graphics card into XP. I get this error message:

"The NVIDIA Setup program could not locate any drivers that are
compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit."

I see that this may be a common problem can anyone help please? My present card i think is integrated into my computer and is a 2 series. Do I need to uninstall first and/or make my comp recognise my extra PCI-E slot? Shouldn't my computer identify new harware when put in and notify me of of its presence? I am confused please help!

Many Thanks

Sounds like you need to disable the onboard graphics chipset before you can use your new 7600 GS card. REboot and press the key to load the BIOS setup (usually F1, F2, DEL or something) and turn off the on board graphics.
