Nvidia drivers - problem

This is a discussion about Nvidia drivers - problem in the Everything New Technology category; Hi, I updated my Nvidia drivers from 71. 89 to 81. 85 and now my *. avi files don't play properly (only 2-3 fps), *. mpg works fine. How can I fix this (I have this problem with other drivers higher than 71.
