Is there any fix to this known issue Ive been mind boggled by this for the past 3 days... I TRIED ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING KNOWN, still the game doesnt play....

Yes i have installed the latest drivers on my VDO card as well...

I've read about Opengl errors and missing glide installation's ERRORS for the past 3 days and spent more then 20 hours READING about it as well.....

So please don't just tell me to download latest drivers or uninstall the game and rinstalling... Or even tell me that i have to uninstall the previous drivers for my VDO card and rinstall the new driver then after CAUSE SERIOUSLY... I HAVE ALREADY!!!

I am so upset and really just Fed up with this. If anyone OUT THERE knows if this Nvidia Gforce4 mx 64mg card is supported to play mohaa. I'LL LOVE YOU FOR EVER!!!

P.S: I've already tried installing the latest Opengl drivers and actually tried just about everything known to be done ( It's to be expected when you spend more then 20 hours on one F!@#$%% ERROR!!...Right??)

Anyways PLEASE OHH PLEASE IF ANYONE IS OUT THERE THAT CAN TELL ME ATLEAST THAT THE CARD IS NOT supported or atleast to buy a new one this would be very appreciated on your part!!! But i need to know. Because if there is a fix i would love to try to fix the issue instead of spending 150 $ on a new VDO card.

So again this is a MERCY Plea if anyone knows ABOUT anything that can fix the problem with the gforce4 mx running 3dfx games( Like Mohaa ) or know any fixes with this problem?? Please contact me.. If anyone wants to lend a helping hand, this would be much apreciated...

Thanks again The New Guy!

P.S.S: Please leave a message behind to help me PLEASE!! Or even better
here is my email if anyone interested in helping danielmanor22@msn.com

MOHAA is not a 3DFX game. It's an OPENGL game.

What your error is telling me is that you do not have OPENGL installed. Simply go to www.nvidia.com and download the latest drivers and install them. The game should work then.

Please don't double post.

GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem !!!

Is there any fix to this blasted problem.....

I think i might of deleted the opengl32.dll in my system32 folder by accident...Could this be the issue?

The game started fine but as soon as you went to the training session it would HANG so i just went threw some quick forums to get a patch to the problem and by accident i think i removed it or i did something absolutly stupide.....

So does anyone know of any site offering the dll files system32 on win XP?

Hmm just been researching this one and its fair to say there are many things that can cause this particular problem.

Anyhow I did a search for "opengl32.dll" on my PC and sure enough there it is %windir%\system32.

If I look in the version it says:

File Version: 5.1.2600.1106
Description: OpenGL Client DLL
Copyright: :copyright: Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

So therefore it must not come with the nVidia drivers?

You say you have SP2 installed so therefore the version of this DLL on your system should be 5.2.3790.0.

Ok BRAINWAVE! lol i hate it when this happens!
Explore to C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386
You should hopefully have a backup of opengl32.dll in there.

Copy it and paste it into C:\Windows\System32

{may have to reboot here, not sure}

Now try your game (hopefully it will work).

Since you say you may have deleted the file then we can try that 1st.

Not having this file will cause a major problem since it is the runtime for OpenGL -> which links into a file like nvoglnt.dll (for nVidia cards)- this file you have since you updated your drivers but opengl32.dll won't be there since that gets installed with Windows, or a service pack.

If the above doesnt work you can always try reinstalling SP2.

If nothing works post back as I have collated a whole load of possible fixes from various websites.

----------------------------------------------------

To my prevale !!

Here is the fix For your Nvidia Gforce4 mx 64mg Intergrated GPU

And how to play 3dfx rendered games...Only took 4 days of searching!!

Here how it goes Install the latest drivers from Nvidia, To your graphic card best one's are 61.77......
------------------------------------

Then you might get this error message always appearing on you after you install that..

...calling LoadLibrary( 'C:\WINDOWS\system32\opengl32.dll' ): failed
...shutting down QGL
...assuming '3dfxvgl' is a standalone driver
...initializing QGL
...WARNING: missing Glide installation, assuming no 3Dfx available
...shutting down QGL
GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem....

Well the second fix is to make sure your opengl32.dll files are still in your System32 folder see i made the mistake of copying them over... then deleting them.... I know stupide me...

Well i just actually recovered them from my trash...
Didnt get the error anymore....
------------------------------------
For the third fix i hade to install Game XP on my system....
Actually i dont even think my 3dfx games would of even worked without this because what it did is just made my system EXTREMLY FAST and got ride of all the un wanted applications and keys that where not needed...

Here is that website for All of you : http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4152.html

Its Rar file so when you open it all you need is the .Exe and the .Html <-----( For tips and tricks )!!

You drag both files to your desktop I recommend reading the README file first!! Then you run the .Exe and thats it you click yes then you make sure what you see your system specs or else this program is not for you... Then you just Click Warp Speed.... There you have it your System is tweak for maximum 3dfx rendered games.....

P.S: You can always restore to your default settings with Game XP so DONT WORRY!!

--------------------------------------------------------------

For the fourth and finale fix i didnt have the cd anymore and i dont really like having to put them in and out so i installed the no cd patch....

See i was having this problem for the past 4 days and it came to mind seeing this error...

Faulting application mohaa.exe, version 1.0.0.1, faulting module gamex86.dll, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x000de436.

The problem is that your using an older version of the .exe in your mohaa folder so you all you need to do is upgrad it and i have the fix for that too..

URL: http://www.moaclan.com/modules.php?name=....11_No_CD_Crack

This version is actually the 1.1.12.140 and is the .exe that the game needs to run....

This is a Rar file as well So you need to drag and drop the mohaa-flt.reg to your desktop and same goes with the .exe...

So you right click -flt.reg thats on your desktop and you merge it with the other one....Then you copy the .exe and paste it in the directory that the game is installed thats it!!!

VOILA you have sucessfully installed Mohaa and got your Nvidia Gforce4 MX 64mg Intergrated GPU to run a opengl and a 3dfx game!!

Thanks again for everyones part in this!!

Hey I appreciate all your help in the post. Im still having trouble with MOA Pacific Assualt.

Im getting a Video Card Error or issue. Its saying that the game requries a video card that fully supports DirectX 8.1

I have a Nvidia GeForce4 440 Go 64M and this card is listed to work with the game in the discription under the error.
It reads "vidia GeForce 3, 3ti, 4"

Anyway what could be the problem in my case?

The GeForce4 440 Go is basically a Geforce 2. So I am not sure if MOA:PA supports that video card or not. I would say not considering that the specs you listed do not list the GF2 but I have not personally tested the game myself so I cannot say for sure.

I have seen posts from people with better specs than you and far better video cards saying that the game is very slow, either from an unoptimized engine or it's just pushing the envelope. Considering that it's an EA game it was most likely pushed out way too early and is unoptimized.
