Nview???
This is a discussion about Nview??? in the Windows Software category; HI EVERYBODY, I cant understand the purpose of the nview?I have 1 monitor and a geforce1 SDR card and at the display properties says nview instead of geforce 256 ;( I dont want nview!The display adapter in the device manager shows 2 display adapters.

I cant understand the purpose of the nview?I have 1 monitor and a geforce1 SDR card and at the display properties says "nview" instead of "geforce 256" ;( I dont want nview!The display adapter in the device manager shows 2 display adapters...the nview and the geforce256 one!I dont want the nview!!how can i uninstall it?

use older drivers. I think the 23.11 was tha last before nView.

somehow i remember that even with those drivers i could "see" my geforce256 car in display properties...but i dont rember how...old drivers=less performance

...so the only way i can get rid of this nview is... older drivers?? ;(
i am running a gf1ddr with 2832 and my display properties tab are correct as when i was with 2311
(winXP) (now i am gonna go home tonight and check for sure) but i would have noticed if it was as you described.

i know that it sound odd,but before i format my pc i noticed that with the same version of detonator the display properties were correct!!so sometime it shows nview and sometimes geforce256..i have win2000pro.i dont know what can cause that
