Office 2000 / winxp

This is a discussion about Office 2000 / winxp in the Windows Hardware category; If i installed office 2000 in winxp beta 2, and im running a dual boot, is it possible to run it in win98se? Or do i have to install it in win98se to, but to the same dir as I did in winxp? I want the emails to be visible / updated in both os's (for my palm pilot's sake)

You have to install it on the Win98 installation as well. There are several reasons, but the big one is that each OS installation on your computer runs its own registry. That information isn't shared between the OSes. There are other reasons to, but I think you get the gist of the situation.
