Office Professional 2003 not allowing updates
This is a discussion about Office Professional 2003 not allowing updates in the Windows Software category; Help! For some reason when I go to the Microsoft website to up date my Office software I end up getting the error software not installed. . . I followed MS bulletin advice to check originating source keys, changed it in the registry, tried the full install for service pack 2 for Office 2003 and still it won't update.
Help! For some reason when I go to the Microsoft website to up date my Office software I end up getting the error "software not installed"...
I followed MS bulletin advice to check originating source keys, changed it in the registry, tried the full install for service pack 2 for Office 2003 and still it won't update. I have a legitimate version of this software and was able to update it last in Dec 2005. Now for some reason it is blocked. Will uninstalling the software and reinstalling the software fix this?
