6.50's are old. 12/4/2000. I use 6.67's which are a couple of days older. The ONLY problem I have with these drivers is if I load up Quake 3 and then exit and play a D3D game then the D3D game will not load. I have to restart. Other than that these drivers are perfect. I don't think I had this prob with the 6.62's. Simply replace the NVCPL with one from the 6.34's to get coolbits.
Don't use the 7.xx's.

I've tried a lot of different drivers, 3.x, 5.x, 6.x and the 7.x drivers but I have to say that the best ones I've come across so far are the 6.62 WHQL drivers - my display will now to to 1900 odd whereas previously
the most I could get was 1600x1200, OpenGL-based games work without freezing AND (appear to) run faster and I havent had ANY bother since I installed them.
Just my 2 cents.......hope its of some use
