Old DOS RPG won't run smoothly on celron 1.7 with win xp
The game pauses and it very jerky when I play it. I read somewhere about adjusting DMA configuration, but I don't know how to even do that. Does anyone know what I can do>?.

Dos games tend to run that way in windows even on fast systems. The dos environment is software emulated so it is gonna run kinda crappy thats life. Get an old yard sale box and install all your dos games on it. that is the way to go if you really wanna play em.

Currently on runs 286 level games. No DOS4GW support or VESA but it's a VERY good emulator and should surpass all other DOS emulators very soon.
