Only permitting specific programs to write/append dat
This is a discussion about Only permitting specific programs to write/append dat in the Windows Software category; There are certain resources on the server that I would like to make so that only certain programs can create new files or append data, however, any other program (including explorer (i. e. copying & pasting)) is denied access.
There are certain resources on the server that I would like to make so that only certain programs can create new files or append data, however, any other program (including explorer (i.e. copying & pasting)) is denied access.
Another thing to this is, some of these programs are not on the server. They would be located on the workstation. Any ideas?
