OT : Help Me Or I Am SOL

Is the Windows 2000 CD-Key stored in the registry? I lost my COA and stupid me went and formatted my RAID array. Luckily I still had my old hard drive with Win2k on it. I searched all through the registry, but I can't find it.

Is the Windows 2000 CD-Key stored in the registry? I lost my COA and stupid me went and formatted my RAID array. Luckily I still had my old hard drive with Win2k on it. I searched all through the registry, but I can't find it. Can anyone tell me how to find the Product ID cd-key for reinstallation so I don't have to go to Best Buy and get my @ss ripped open again with the costs. Thanks! I really appreciate it.

if your have a legit cd and registered it, you might be able to get help from MS. But no, you're not gonna find it anywhere on your system.
