Outlook Express and IE Problems

I was having huge problems with IE freezing my computer and Outlook Express taking 15 minutes to load and then freezing my computer. I upgraded to 6. 0. Downgraded to 5. 5. Tried a manual uninstall including cleaning the registry using the outlook express registry clean tool and reinstalling.

Nothing helped. I decided to upgrade to W2K. System is 100% faster. Works great. Two problems. IE crashes anytime I try to right click on a web page. And, Outlook Express won't even start. I gives me a can't address memory at address "hex memory address".

I don't think it is hardware since I am not getting error like that in any other applications.

Any thoughts, Thanks

Did you happen to do any of those tweaks, that tell you to turn off certain services? I did those tweaks and noticed a problem with Outlook Express. I can't remember which service, but I think it was the "Run As" service.

Thanks, but no, I didn't tweak anything except my brain trying to fix this problem.
