"The protected system file xiffr3_0.dll could not be restored to its original, valid version. The file version of the bad file is 3.0.0.18 The specific error code is 0x800b0100 [No signature was present in the subject.

that's just an example.
I've downloaded and installed every update there is for Windows2000...even ones that deal with things I don't have installed.
SP1, and all the normal stuff.
Any ideas? Computer runs fine..if I run NAV2000, I don't get this. NAVCE, I do.

I'm running NAV20001 that comes with SystemWorks 2001.
No problem with it, or with the NAV2000 I was previously running.
No help, I know. But at least it cuts out one more variable.

I reinstalled Windows today...and therefore all my applications....
Now it just makes my system crawl--but it doesn't give me WFP errors.

Do you have Dynamic Disks enabled? This made my McAfee Netshield and ViruScan for NT go nuts. All it did was fill up the event log. I wound up disabling the logging service and rebooting to find out what the problem was due to the constant pegging of the CPU at 90+ percent. McAfee 4.5 fixed this problem, but I don't care for it because of its lack of Admin abilities (at the time).
