p4p800 deluxe w/2.4 cpu+the best vid card

This is a discussion about p4p800 deluxe w/2.4 cpu+the best vid card in the Windows Hardware category; What is the best video card I can put on this MOBO. I have a GIG of ram,a 2. 4 intel processor and am currently running a 9700 pro. I would prefer to stay with ATI Radeon. Thanks in advance.

you should be able to visit the Intel site and do a search for your motherboard. It should tell ya what the max it can handle is there.

Lots of new AGP cards are arriving on the scene now, and ATI and their partners are no exception. The X1950 Pro in AGP flavour is an excellent performer, especially when paired with a good CPU.
