Paris-Dakar Rally
This is a discussion about Paris-Dakar Rally in the Windows Games category; Hi Everybody, Tried to run Paris-Dakar Rally on Windows XP with Geforce 2. No go! Tried Application Compatibility Toolkit 2. 0, didn't work! Tried both the actuall and 12. 41 drivers by nvidia.

Tried to run Paris-Dakar Rally on Windows XP with Geforce 2. No go!
Tried Application Compatibility Toolkit 2.0, didn't work!
Tried both the actuall and 12.41 drivers by nvidia. The games just quits back to desktop after the movies.
Any ideas?

Hi, I had this - In my case I turned down the acceleration on the sound card (used dxdiag) and it worked (have an SB Live!1024)

thx a lot man, that helped me too
but i've 2 other issues:
- the screen resolution is always set to 640x480, i can change it in the graphic setup, but i've still the low resolution
- where can i change from automatic to manual gearing
btw, i've a sb live, gf2 (14.70) & wingman ff
