Partition Magic (again)

This is a discussion about Partition Magic (again) in the Windows Software category; I have the partition magic 5. 01 upgrade and as far as I can tell under win2k, all you can do is make rescue disks to boot from. I thought the new fancy version ran in naive mode as it does under NT4.

When they talked about a patch, I expected that something would be installed on the hard disk. All I got was 2 crappy diskettes.

I really like Partition Magic, I've used it since version 1 with OS/2.
But I find it very amazing that a 30meg download only produced a few disks. I have always defended PowerQuest but this time I just don't see how I can. This is just ridicules.

I feel the same way. Partion Magic WAS the definitive tool for changing hard drive properties while still in the GUI of our windows OS's.

It seems they have been stumped by Window 2000. If they can't provide a working solution, I hope some other company will release a similar and better program.
