PCI Video Card
This is a discussion about PCI Video Card in the Windows Hardware category; I am looking for a cheap PCI Video card that is fully win2k compatable. 3d capabilities are not neccisary but it must be good 2d up to 1024 x 768 @ 85 hz. Any sugestions? I am putting this in my Dell so i can run dual monitors.

I'm getting an ATI Xpert 98 XL, PCI. You can find them online for around $30...but I'm not sure exactly how the refresh rates are..but drivers are there
I think most of the matrox cards work. you can get a G series for really freaking cheap. I recommend the Diamnod Viper V330. Good video card. I can't remember if they made it in pci or not.
