Perhaps i have the reason for DMA Problems in W2K!!!!!

I have a DFI VIA MVP3 Board. I disabled in the Bios the UDMA. After I restart W2k, DMA works under W2000. It is not UDMA, it is only DMA2. I was surprised. I think that W2000 will not allowed that the Bios control the PC.

I think that W2000 will not allowed that the Bios control the PC. For W2000 the Bios is a unregistered user who tries to attack the software. That is reason why many people use W2000.
