Permission a la Win2k

Using Windows XP Professional: Is there a simple way to setup permissions and user access? Perhaps the same way as Win2k? Is it possible to share a folder, allowing access to various network users but not the entire network? I have not been able to find this functionality in WinXP.

Right click on the folder you want to share, then go to sharing and security. From there you may have to run the setup for it if not, click the mox which says SHARE THIS FOLDER ON NETWORK. You can also private share. Good luck and let me know how it goes.

Go to Control Panel -> Folder Options -> View and untick "Use simple file sharing" and it'll be almost like you're using Win2k again.
