Personalized settings in Win2k

This is a discussion about Personalized settings in Win2k in the Customization Tweaking category; This might be an easy one but I am just getting used to Win2k. In Win9x/ME you could have each user have customized start menus, desktops, favorites, etc. Can it be like that in Win2k? When I change one thing under Admin, and I log into Family, the change goes there too.

This might be an easy one but I am just getting used to Win2k. In Win9x/ME you could have each user have customized start menus, desktops, favorites, etc. Can it be like that in Win2k? When I change one thing under Admin, and I log into Family, the change goes there too. I tried looking for the setting but I couldn't find it. Can someone tell me where to set this? Thanks again all who helped me in previous times with my new Win2k experience.

Make the changes under the account(s) that you want personalised. As for desktop settings etc with the Admin, if you do it under this account or Family, it 'should' automatically be seperated for each account.

It can be a little more confusing in Win2K. Since 2K makes use of the All Users menues, perhaps the change you've made is to a menu item that is actually in the All Users folder instead of the Admin folders.

Also, Win2K doesn't allow different Screen resolutions between users, like Win9x/ME.
