Ping error 65 - What is it and How to fix??
This is a discussion about Ping error 65 - What is it and How to fix?? in the Windows Software category; HI, Finally took the plung and did a fresh install of Win2k. Great. no problem initially, got connected to the net, installed my major software i. e Firewall etc. BUT all of a sudden I cannot retrieve data from the net, connect OK but not get any info.

Finally took the plung and did a fresh install of Win2k. Great. no problem initially, got connected to the net, installed my major software i.e Firewall etc. BUT all of a sudden I cannot retrieve data from the net, connect OK but not get any info. So, I did the usual, reinstalled TCP/IP, then after no joy reinstalled Win2k, no joy, reinstalled I.E 5.5 - still no joy. Then decided to ping my ISP and a few sites and started getting Ping error 65.
So, if this is the problem, what is it and how do I fix.
