Pinnacle 8.12.7 Studio DV video capture card under SP2

This is a discussion about Pinnacle 8.12.7 Studio DV video capture card under SP2 in the Windows Software category; Can anyone of you gods out there help a mere mortal to start capturing video again with my Studio DV card with Pinnacle 8. 12. 7 software. The problem is that I can capture video no probs with just Windows XP Pro installed without SP1 and SP2, but when I update with Bills SP2 it will not work.

Can anyone of you gods out there help a mere mortal to start capturing video again with my Studio DV card with Pinnacle 8.12.7 software. The problem is that I can capture video no probs with just Windows XP Pro installed without SP1 and SP2, but when I update with Bills SP2 it will not work. I get a Capture Device Initialization Error message. The Digital Camcorder and IEEE1394 card both show in Device Manager. I am at a complete loss to get this working again.

did u uninstal and reinstal the stoodio drivers?
