Pioneer DVD-144, wrong Firmware...
This is a discussion about Pioneer DVD-144, wrong Firmware... in the Slack Space category; Hello there. . . My lousy neighbour has flashed the Pioneer DVD-144 with wrong Regionfree Firmware: DVD-104F. . . Now of course his DVD won't work. I also can't simply flash it with appropriate firmware, flashing just kicks me out in the middle of the process and the old wrong firmware is still there.

I also can't simply flash it with appropriate firmware, flashing just kicks me out in the middle of the process and the old wrong firmware is still there.
What can I do? Any idea? Is there any utility, for solving rhat kind of problems?

Hi thanks for your answer... I have succeeded with frimware version from offical Pioneer's site...
