Playing Z on XP
This is a discussion about Playing Z on XP in the Windows Games category; Hi everyone. After trying allot of things I managed to install the game Z (made by the Bitmap Brothers). Iam running a Windows XP OS, AMD 2800 1024 DDR. I have 2 problems. The first and most important one: When I wnat to start a new game a error pops up saying Instruction not allowed.
Hi everyone. After trying allot of things I managed to install the game Z (made by the Bitmap Brothers). Iam running a Windows XP OS, AMD 2800 1024 DDR. I have 2 problems. The first and most important one: When I wnat to start a new game a error pops up saying "Instruction not allowed". what is this and can it be helped? (i hope so otherwise i can't play the game) my second problem is the colors aren't good. I allready tried putting the colour settings to 16 BIT, but still no luck. If anyone can help me with this....

Thanks for replying. I have tried DOSBOX and this game was designed for windows 95. And this is not Z:steel soldiers. This is just Z.
