Please Help - Gigabyte 815 MoBo and Win2000 problem
This is a discussion about Please Help - Gigabyte 815 MoBo and Win2000 problem in the Windows Hardware category; A friend of mine has the Gigabyte 815. I think it is the GA-6OXM7E(-1) model. Whenever we have tried to install Win 2000 Pro all is fine. As soon as it starts multi tasking or straining a little, the mouse stop responding, then basically responds in the reverse direction.

As soon as it starts multi tasking or straining a little, the mouse stop responding, then basically responds in the reverse direction. It corrupts all the underlaying GUI and the machine needs a Hard Reset. We have re-formatted and tried again.
He is currently using WinME (which sux big time) and would rather use Win2000.
I tried to disable the Network card and as much of his other hard ware. Please ... can anyone shed some light on this?
