Just got a Toshiba Laptop with Windows XP Home edition on it. I would like to upgrade the OS to Windows XP Professional Upgrade CD (in order to keep all my current settings)

Please kindly give me a quick tutorial and let me know what steps I have to thorugh, in order to install the Windows XP Professional Upgrade on the top of my current OS, without re-install all the apps and keep all my settings.

Please kindly advise what should I do ?

Thank you so much for your help in advance.

Yeah... When XP beta was initially released, pro wasn't on the upgrade track, then when xp went gold, they allowed the upgrade... Interesting.
