Hello everyone, I actually found this forum via (more) late night searching for a solution to a problem that i've been trying to solve for a month... I have a Toshiba Satellite A25-S207 laptop and for the last month+ i've been atempting to clear the harddrive/reset everything back to its factory condition with the supplied recovery dvd... The problem is that when i boot holding c (as it says to do on the back on of the dvd-case) all that happens is a blinking white cursor flashes for about 10 seconds in the top left-hand corner before disappearing, then rather than going into recovery the system just boots xp... i've also tried going into bios and setting the dvd drive as the first to boot... and the same thing happens... if anyone can offer any advice at all I would greatly appreciate it.
