Please help with running game
I have a dell that runs windows XP and I just found my FAVORITE game in the world - TIE fighter. Now the version I just got (stupidly not looking to see what system it runs on) is Window's 95 and 98.

I have heard conflicting things on if it will run or not. I do have TIE fighter currently and I'm not sure if it's the same version I just bought (I'm not being too smart today) but when I try to play that version it skips, freezes, there is no sound and my joystick doesn't work. I have read somewhere that there is a program you can download that may fix this problem (toolkit 2.0 I believe), my problem is that I do not have internet access at home and when I download toolkit to my work computer I cannot save it to a disk to take home . Can anyone help me?

If your home and work computers have USB port, then buy USB memory key. The 128 MB should be enough. I do not know their prices in where you live, but here in Finland they cost about 30 euros. The usb key is really handy to transfer stuff between home and work.
