Populous - The Beginning problem
I installed Populous the beginning on my Windows XP Home SP2 system. When I try to run the game the mouse turns to the hourglass and then nothing else happens and the application isn't running in the task manager.
I installed Populous the beginning on my Windows XP Home SP2 system. When I try to run the game the mouse turns to the hourglass and then nothing else happens and the application isn't running in the task manager. I installed Windows 98SE using Virtual PC but the only difference was that the application was shown in the task manager but would still not run. One thing I noticed was that it did run on my other PC that was Windows 98 but stopped working when I upgraded it to Win98SE. Is it possible it is only compatible with the first edition of 98 or is there another factor involved?
