No, because if the system is networked the same security issues can apply.

it is of course entirely up to you. If you aren´t afraid of hackers etc people who want to hurt your system and or read your files then it´s ok.

Ok, Changed it's name from the default "Administrator" Gave it an excessively long/complex password, and set the permissions on my hard drives/folders/files to only that name.
