power toys for xp

This is a discussion about power toys for xp in the Customization Tweaking category; will it work on 2000? i'd really like to be able to use the multi-desktop feature like with linux that power toys has. thanx harlock.

I used some BETA versions of the XP Powertoys and it didnt go very well. Only got the power calculator and the command line thing to work. Now the whole package has gotten a version detection scheme and will only install on a WinXP computer.

You can use "BandVWM" from STARDOCK, but I think it is a component of their ObjectDesktop (WindowBlinds, IconPackager, WindowFX,...). I have their software (around 40$) suite and think one can do amazing things...
