PREFNET error

old problem. . . . . but when i search all over the web. . . nobody can give me a certain answer. . . my only question is HOW to work out the problem. . . . . . event id 2002 event id 2004 detail at.

Make sure that 'Server'-service is running.
Start->Run. services.msc

2002:
Make sure that 'Workstation'-service is running.
Start->Run. services.msc

if I tell you that I don't have these services...what you think?
so far as I know perfnet.sys is no necessary.......why not tell me perfnet connect to which service ...I will get rid of it.....THX
