Previously read CDs cannot be read in WIn2k.
Need some advises here. Formly using WinME, I am able to read these OEM CDs and CDs I made myself. But after upgrading to win2k, I discovered that I cannot read some of them anymore. How is this possible? I can boot into DOS to read the CDS.

I can boot into DOS to read the CDS ...but no in windows environment. I have patched my OS with service pack 2. Are there any new patches that I should update to resolve this problem??
help! help!.

When you did an upgrade did you just install Win2k over ME? Or did you do a clean install (i.e. Format the drive and then install Win2k)
Okay.
Have you tried a different CD-ROM drive? Different IDE cable for the CD-ROM? On a different PC running Win2k?
