Does anyone know what could cause a print spooler service in Win2000 server to stop? rogue program or virus?? it's just wierd that it only happens when I have gone home. The next morning (7:30am) I have to restart the service up again. Bad thing is the owner comes in at 6am and try to print reports but can't. That is a problem.
I've tried re-apply service pak (sp2), still no fix. Short of re-installing the OS I don't know what to do. Anyone have any suggestion??

It could be a program that hasn't removed itself from memory. WordPerfect and Corel Draw do this quite a bit. It may be a corrupt print driver. Also, something may have installed another print service that is conflicting. Some versions of Novell Client cause this.
