I am setting up a new Toshiba laptop at work. It has Windows XP professional with Service Pack 2 and all the latest Windows updates. I have a HP 3820 I am trying to install. The software and drivers install fine.

I have a HP 3820 I am trying to install. The software and drivers install fine. When I try to print a test page all I get is jibberish. It looks like ASCII characters. I am not sure at this point if I don't have the right drivers or if there is something else wrong. I have the printer connected through a USB 2 hub. I didn't try connecting it directly to the computer but can try that first when I get back to work. Any suggestion on the cause of this problem would be appreciated.
