Problem installing Photoshop 6
This is a discussion about Problem installing Photoshop 6 in the Windows Software category; When i doubleclick the Setup. exe, the install starts, but it won't go further than to the splashscreen, i've tried to run it in Compability mode, don't work either.

Hey, i just installed Xp last nite, and i put in PS this morn, it took a while, the installation hung for me, so i ran the setup again, then did a ctrl+alt+del, killed the second set up and splash screen), opened up IE,and the first installatoin started. I have had this happen in 2k, so it is not just xp, give it a try, try running the setup a few times, and do some other things, that seem to give it a boost

had no problems ..not even had to use compet..
