problem playing .avi movie clips

This is a discussion about problem playing .avi movie clips in the Customization Tweaking category; I down loaded a movie clip. . . . . movie. clip. ts. and when I try to play it, I get the location cannot be opened error. What should I do? I have the latest The Playa codec from I have tried burning the clip on a cd and running it from the cd drive and nothing.

I down loaded a movie clip .....
[tmd]movie.clip.ts.
and when I try to play it, I get the location cannot be opened error. What should I do?
 
I have the latest "The Playa" codec from www.divx.com
 
I have tried burning the clip on a cd and running it from the cd drive and nothing...
please help.

How big is the file? Try to rename the file extension to .avi
It might be that the movie clip is incomplete.

The file is 141 MB
 
I have tried to rename the file ****.avi and still it does not work.
