Problem with ASROCK k7s8x and Radeon 9800se

This is a discussion about Problem with ASROCK k7s8x and Radeon 9800se in the Windows Hardware category; I got problem with ASROCK k7s8x and Radeon 9800se When i try to start a D3D program. . system crashes right away and encounters a blue screen. . I'm using a WinXp pro and i have dx9b installed. . I have tried various drivers, but theres no help for me.

I got problem with ASROCK k7s8x and Radeon 9800se
 
When i try to start a D3D program.. system crashes right away and encounters a blue screen..
 
I'm using a WinXp pro and i have dx9b installed..
 
I have tried various drivers, but theres no help for me..
 
My hardware is: Asrock k7s8x, +2600xp processor, radeon 9800se, 512mt ddr (333Mhz), 350W power supply
 
does anyone know anything about this..

especially for the radeons that is a small ps. i have a 9500 and needed to upgrade to a 450w to accommadate it and the rest of my system

Check if the card isn't overheating.

Touch the cards cooler or the back side of the card where the gpu is. If you can hold it for more than a minute it's not overheating.

upgrade to the latest BIOS would do.
