Problem with Geforce MX 4000 in XP

This is a discussion about Problem with Geforce MX 4000 in XP in the Windows Hardware category; hello everyone. . . . I got a Geforce MX 4000 AGP card. . i installed it on 98 by deleting all my prev drivers of my old card n its workin fine. . but i tried to do same on XP but couldn install it properly.

hello everyone....
I got a Geforce MX 4000 AGP card..i installed it on 98 by deleting all my prev drivers of my old card n its workin fine..
but i tried to do same on XP but couldn install it properly..i am tryin it for a week now but no result..when i reboot after installing the drivers my monitors shuts down n i have to start in Safe mode n unstall it again..n i got latest driver from the Nvidia site..
 
My PC details r:
P4 1.6 ghz
intel i845 chipset (Microtek motherboard)
256 MB RAM
its an assembled PC..
PLZZZZZZZZZ help meeeeeeee

Hmm i think when u log on win xp first u go to control panel thenu go add hardware and then i think it will work >>>>>

i have this problem too n it cant be solved in fatdragons way...
xp doesnt like this vga.. :-/
