Hi

I have the same joystick, and you dont need the sidewinder software to get it working. Just go into control panel->game devices and then add 'sidewinder (auto detect)' and it should detect it and then it works.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for your answer, but that is not the problem. When I play GP3 I can use the wheel to turn, accelerate and brake but all the buttoms don't work. And I think it is caused by the software.

You can use the Sidewinder software that came with the wheel. When you go to install it, it will say it hasn't been test with Win2k, but choose to install it anyway.

Also, make sure you have loaded DirectX 8.

BTW, is this a USB or a serial port wheel?

Thanks for your help, but I still have a problem with the buttoms. There don't work when I play GP3. When im in the software program everything seems to be fine, but I can't get them to work in the GP3 game.

Do you/anyone know what I can do to get them to work?
