Problem with ntbackup... wont start planned tasks

This is a discussion about Problem with ntbackup... wont start planned tasks in the Windows Software category; WinXP PRO. Want to backup some of my files to another computer i have via network Using ntbackup, I can easely start manuals tasks and they will be backuped on the 2nd computer but if i plan some, they wont automatically start.

Using ntbackup, I can easely start manuals tasks and they will be backuped on the 2nd computer but if i plan some, they wont automatically start... They are in the "planning" tab but wont start. My "task planner" service is started
 
( sorry, I got a french XP so i dont know exactly the english names )

It's called "task scheduler" in English.
 
Can you check your Event Viewer and see if there are any related events in there?

I think I found it... at the end of the backup planning, Win was asking for a username+password for the backup operation... I left it as it, without password (because my account does not have a password)... I just tried to create a user with a password and I entered it and it seems to work... i'll continue and give you some news
