hi!

i have the following problem:

i am trying to make a boot disk for an akai sampler.
so i downloaded the selfextracting archive s2000v2.exe.
iam using win2k, so i started the dos box. and formatet a new disk.
the next step was to extract the exe. so did i.
but then i got a error message. it said that the program wants to get direct access on the harddisk. and that this is not allowed.
i clicked on ignore. and in the dos box it said "diskette error - try another"
i tried 5 new formated disks...

can someone please help me? im getting crazy...
is there a way to extract the exe archive? is it possible to run this program somehow?

iam using win2k sp4.
