Problem with Video card

This is a discussion about Problem with Video card in the Windows Hardware category; Ok my ATI Radeon X1300Pro was working with no problems yesterday. I when to ATI site downloaded the new 6. 12 update so i install it. Now today i can't get my computer to boot up nothing nothing. So i try to swap the cards for my old one and it work ok.

So i try to swap the cards for my old one and it work ok. Now i am working with ATI Radeon 9700 Pro this work ok. I have not install anything new in my computer.....Can anyone help pls

Do you mean that the system will not boot even to the bios splash screen (no video at all), or just not boot into Windows?
 
Are you using Windows XP?

Yes not nothing No XP screen nothing
XP home... I can hear n see my computer and fans working but no video. So remove the X1300 card out and replace it with my old 9700Pro and this is working with no problem..

Was the fan spinning on the X1300 Pro card when you turned on the system?
 
Did you uninstall the old driver software before upgrading to the new drivers, as suggested on the ATI site?
 
Both cards, the older and the original have the same interface. say AGP or PCI-E?
 
If yes, then try removing the drivers with the old card in, then proceed to re-insert the new card, boot up the system and follow the directions for installing the new drivers.
