Probleme during log with Windows XP (very slow)
This is a discussion about Probleme during log with Windows XP (very slow) in the Windows Hardware category; I installed lot of PC with windows XP connected on Windows 2000 Serveur. I use TCPIP protocole in DHCP or TCPIP but when starting computer, log can make 5 minutes before entering in windows. After, all work fine.

Sounds like a DNS problem. Make sure your DNS server is running correctly and that the workstations are receiving the correct information from DHCP.
