Problems faced when reverting from WinXP to Win2k
This is a discussion about Problems faced when reverting from WinXP to Win2k in the Customization Tweaking category; I've tried reverting from WinXP to Win2k by formatting and reinstalling. Everything seems ok except that Win2k couldn't access the directories and stuff created with WinXP! It just gives an error access denied, file in use in windows explorer.

I've tried setting the rights to Everyone using the Administrator account but to no avail. I can see the directories in a command prompt window but when i try to enter the directories it just says "directory does not exist".
Anyone folks that can help me on this?

Look in the security tab and Apply ownership to the directory.

Tried that, although i had full ownership of the directory, but it still didn't work. Gives me an error "file in use"...

reboot windows 2000 then take ownership of all folders
this will work
