Problems with Final fantasy XI (CD ROM DRIVE)

I just bought FFXI today. I went to install it but everytime I put it into my cd rom drive nothing happens. I went to my computer and went to manually install but there is nothing in the cd rom drive folder it is blank! I know the disk is not corrupt because it was working on my moms computer! can anyone help me so ...
