hi guys!

I have a P4 1.8 mhz processor with mercury Via chipset motherboard with an agp 2 slot

Earlier I was using a nvidia 64 mb 8x agp card (mora)and the comp was working perfectly.

I am trying to upgrade to an Nvidia GeForce MX4000 XFX make but the computer does not work. The comp light (green light) does not come on.
The motherboard also has an onboard S3DDR graphicsw adapter which I have disabled through the Bios setup

Can anybody help me on this problem, since I am not a computer pro.

Thanks and a merry X mas to everyone

Sounds like a faulty card or there is some incompatibility with the card and the motherboard. Check the motherboard's web site for any issues/fixes for this.
