programs don't respond

ok, it has only been happening recently. I am able to move the mouse around and switch between progs but can't actually do anything - like close a program - do send and recieve - etc It is as if the memory is ful and i have to wait for it to clear! it only takes 30secs or so but it is really frustrating! anyone kno ...

it happens wen i use this but it also happens we i don't !! so....
 
the event log - yeah but errrm please could u tell me where it is !! :-s

Event Viewer .... Control Panel / Admin Tools / Event Viewer
 
Any extraneous processes running on your box? TSRs, etc?

ok, found event viewer and there are a few error thingys!
 
but im not too sure how to interpret them!
