q3 fps
This is a discussion about q3 fps in the Windows Games category; hm, since ive been hacking/tweaking my machine as much as i could, and im also curious as how to my machine compares to others id like to compare q3 fps in timedemo four. dm_66 in q3 1. 30. ive got 310 fps, and about 390 when i disable my fortissimo 2 in devicemanager.

i use 800x600 in 16 bit color, with a lot of tweaks in my config.

Nice #'s man. Well, I can't give you any Q3 stats (jeez, I didn't know peeps still played it ), but I do manage 55 fps playing Counter-Strike with my trusty old TNT2. I play at 1024x768 using the highest quality (not highest speed) settings
Sweet.....300+. With my GeForce2 MX and 750 Mhz CPU and 512 megs of RAM I get around 75-80 FPS for Quake 3 1.3 at 800x600x32 Max settings but bilinear instead of trilinear.
