Q3 won't start under Win2K (Diamond FireGL1000Pro)

This is a discussion about Q3 won't start under Win2K (Diamond FireGL1000Pro) in the Windows Games category; I just installed Win2K and the 1st thing I wanted to try was Q3. I installed it, but it won't start. It says Couldn't open ogl subsystem. . or some crap like this. I have a Fire GL1000Pro. I ran Q3 on NT4 with no prblems.

just a guess, but have you tried using the NT4 drivers for your video card?
it works for TNT cards..

Check the hardware section, The diamond fireGl1000 isn't supported by windows 2000...Not yet anyway.
