Questions around XP messenger and SIP protocol

We are looking for information around XP messenger which is announced by Microsoft using the SIP protocol and so we have tested
the XP beta release RC1 (build 2505):

Synthesis for the rc1 release:
- Presence information via a passport server (e.g. hotmail.com)
- The server is only used by the SIP client (messenger) to find one another. After that, any other signalling messages can be sent directly between the clients them selves.
- Presence service and IM using proprietary protocols
- Only for PC-to-PC communications

Enhancements are announced for future releases:
- Presence and Notification (particularly IM) using SIP
- Client can register with a SIP proxy/registrar server
- Option to make PC-to Phone calls (choice from a variety of VoIP carrier)

We have not still the rc2 beta release:
- Do you know if all the enhancement features described above are available in the rc2 XP release?
- I understand that the rtm release (build 2600) is the first commercial release (october 2001), and that it will have exactly the same functionalities as the rc2 release. Is it true?
- Where can we found an available rc2 release?

Thank you for your help
